Stephen Song y Stephen Chidwick destacan en los Global Poker Awards

El viernes pasado, los estudios de PokerGo sacaron a relucir por cuarto año consecutivo la alfombra roja para entregar los Global Poker Awards 2023, uno de los trofeos más prestigiosos de la industria, presentados por Global Poker Index (GPI). 

A lo largo de la ceremonia se repartieron un total de 27 premios. Al final de la noticia podéis leer la lista completa de ganadores. 

Algunos de los premios que se repartieron fueron el GPI Player of the Year, que fue para Stephen Song y el PokerGO Tour Player of the Year, que acabó en manos de Stephen Chidwick. 

El británico también tuvo el honor de hacerse con uno de los premios más importantes, el reconocimiento de sus rivales como el jugador más duro 'Player Choice for Toughest Oppnent'. 

Junto a ellos, también se llevó dos galardones Ethan Yau 'Rampage' que se hizo con el Fans Choice Award for Poker Personality y el premio al mejor Vlogger.

La gala también sirvió para que el famoso  Jc4h de Robbi Jade Lew, que tanta y tanta polémica acarreó, se llevase la mejor mano del año según los aficionados, Fans Choice: Best Hand. 

Otros nombres propios de la ceremonia fueron Gabe Kaplan (Poker ICON), Will Jaffe (Twitter Personality), Kevin Martin (Best Streamer), Jack Effel (Industry Person) o el Stream del Hustler Casino Live (Fans Choice: Fave Live Stream).
